The PRO filter series has been designed anew with the wearer in mind. For starters, it’s smaller than many competing filters, which means it can fit into smaller ears without any protrusion which is great for both comfort and aesthetics. The filters are also user-swappable so you can chop and change as your environment demands to any other filter in the PRO range giving you complete control over your protection with just a single set of ear molds. In addition, the PRO series are water resistant so they can be used outside or in high moisture environments and can withstand perspiration without it damaging the filter membrane.
Recently, ACS partnered with Etymotic Research to start the CUSTOM•FIT upgrade program, which offers custom-matched ear molds to replace the ear tips included with Etymotic earphones and headsets. See more below about the ACS/Etymotic Custom Fit Program.

CUSTOM•FIT Program
The CUSTOM•FIT upgrade program offers custom-matched ear molds to replace the ear tips included with Etymotic earphones and headsets. Because the CUSTOM•FIT ear mold is an exact replica of an individual’s own ear, it provides the best seal for impeccable sound quality and the highest degree of comfort imaginable.
Estes Audiology takes part in the CUSTOM•FIT voucher program schedule an appointment for the ear impressions needed to make these custom ear molds. Estes Audiology will send the ear mold impressions to ACS Custom. ACS Custom retains files of the impressions, so if customers want ear molds for additional Etymotic earphone or headphone products, they can order them without further ear impression appointments.

Sensaphonics Hearing Conservation, Inc. designs and manufactures custom personal monitors (IEMs) and ear plugs for the preservation of hearing.
Sensaphonics Hearing Conservation was founded by audiologist Michael Santucci in 1985 as a research and development company committed to controlling the damaging effects of loud sound, especially regarding musicians and hearing loss. With the advent of in-ear monitor (IEM) systems in the early 90s, Sensaphonics developed custom-fitted earphones designed to act as hearing protectors, isolating performers from ambient sound while allowing the in-ear monitor mix to be heard more clearly, even at lower volumes.
