Each of the clinics in the Estes Audiology family is focused on comprehensive and individual patient care, whether a hearing aid is the most appropriate solution or a different recommendation is the better option. MEET OUR FOUNDERS
Soriya Estes, AuD
Soriya Estes, AuD has extensive experience in the field of Audiology and owns several private practice offices in Central Texas. She received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Texas at Austin and her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University. Dr. Estes has lectured as a guest faculty member for the UT-Austin Moody College of Communication Speech and Hearing Department and also has served on several committees for the American Academy of Audiology. She has spoken at regional and national forums relaying Best Practices for Audiologists in hearing healthcare clinics.
In 2005, Dr. Estes started her first practice in New Braunfels, Texas with the philosophy of providing superior hearing healthcare services for all patients. The philosophy of service to others resonates throughout her character.
Dr. Estes is highly motivated to serve her local communities in Central Texas. Estes Audiology has served as the hearing service affiliate provider for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) since 2009. She also has been called to participate in healthcare efforts in Haiti to support, staff and fund hearing and health centered mission trips annually.
Outside of Audiology, Soriya also serves on the Board of Trustees for 89.5 KMFA – classical public radio and the St. Austin’s Catholic School Board. She is also a Blue Coat for the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Small Business Person of the Year in 2015 from the New Braunfels Chamber. She has lived in Austin for over twenty years and actively attends her daughters school and extracurricular activities as their Uber driver extraordinaire.

Kelli House, M.A.
Kelli House, M.A. has extensive experience in the field of Audiology and joined as a partner of Estes Audiology in 2014. Mrs. House has experience in both pediatric and adult diagnostic testing, hearing loss counseling, and hearing aid fittings. Prior to joining Estes Audiology in May of 2008, she served as Director of Audiology and Lead Audiologist at Easter Seals of Central Texas, a non-profit facility. Through this work, she gained knowledge of grant writing, coordination of ancillary rehabilitation support and providing hearing services to low-income and elderly patients. Mrs. House also has extensive experience in adult aural rehabilitation and hearing aid services for our military veterans. She previously worked in the Audiology Departments at Brooke Army Medical Center and the Temple Veterans Administration, working directly with active duty soldiers and retired veterans.
Mrs. House is very involved in local and regional professional organizations, including the Austin Audiology Society, Scott Haug Foundation and the Texas Academy of Audiology. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology and serves as an off-campus clinical supervisor for the University of Texas at Austin Audiology doctoral program.
Kelli and her husband, MAJ Tory House (US Army), enjoy scuba diving and spending time with their three active sons. Kelli is a past school board member and she is active in the parents club at St. Austin Catholic School.

Liz Beschoner, AuD
Liz Beschoner, AuD has practiced in the field of Audiology for several years. She joined Estes Audiology in 2014 as Doctor of Audiology at Estes Audiology in Boerne, Texas. She has served many patients with a variety of needs in private practices around the San Antonio and Boerne areas. Dr. Beschoner is committed to helping those with hearing loss by bringing them excellent care through rehabilitation to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Beschoner enjoys spending time with her family. She resides in Boerne, Texas with her husband and her two children.

Paige Juarez, AuD
Paige Juarez, AuD has practiced in the field of audiology for several years and joined Estes Audiology in New Braunfels in 2014.
Dr. Juarez is currently a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Texas Academy of Audiology and the Hearing Loss Association of America, and enjoys attending national and state audiology conferences. She has also performed clinical rotations at several different facilities throughout Texas, including ENT Care for Children in Frisco and UT Southwestern in Dallas.
Dr. Juarez enjoys spending time with her husband, Joel, and their baby girl.

Rachel Higginbotham, AuD
Rachel Higginbotham, AuD is a Boerne native who joined Estes Audiology in 2016. Dr. Higginbotham loves ears and is passionate about better hearing. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus. Her goal is to improve enjoyment of life by working with patients and loved ones to find hearing solutions. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Higginbotham takes joy in spending time with her family and church community group, reading a good book, and playing board games with friends. She lives in town with her husband, Jeremy, and son, Jack.
Gay Wucher, M.A.
Gay Wucher, M.A. has over 30 years experience in the field of audiology and is a native Austinite. She loves hearing stories about old Austin, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and cheering for the University of Texas Longhorns.
Designing hearing solutions for discriminating listeners is a challenge that she appreciates. Whether it’s in-the-ear monitors for musicians, custom ear protection for loud venues, or hearing amplification for people who might need a little boost in understanding conversations, Gay cares deeply about each patient and their specific hearing needs.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing cards, dominos, or any other game that might come her way. She lives in Austin with her wife, Natalie, and their two dogs Cotton and Waffles.
Kathy Sonnamaker, AuD, CCC-A
Kathy Sonnamaker completed her Master’s degree in 2001 and received her doctorate in audiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2005. Dr. Sonnamaker has worked in many clinical settings and found she particularly enjoys working with adult patients in private practice. The most fulfilling part of her job is building personal relationships with her patients. She is licensed with the State Committee of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and has been working in Audiology for over 16 years.
In her free time, Kathy likes exploring the geology and Native American artifacts found in the Hill Country and spending time with her friends, family and pets. She also has a passion for problem solving and discovering “how things work.” She resides in Marble Falls with her wife, tame and feral cats and three Clumber Spaniels.
Jake Keup, AuD
Jacob “Jake” Keup, AuD is an Audiologist from Austin, working in the Marble Falls and New Braunfels Estes Audiology locations. Jake joined the practice in June 2017 and has a wide-range of experiences throughout his previous clinical rotations in adults and pediatrics in a number of practice and hospital settings. Jake is from Austin, Texas and completed his Doctorate in Audiology and his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
His favorite aspect of Audiology is the ability to work with new patients each day, and have the opportunity to make a difference in their world. Every day is a unique challenge, and a place to learn something new. He loves that he can touch a different patient’s life through better hearing through treatment and counseling.
Jake is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Texas Academy of Audiology, and the Future Leaders of Audiology.
He is a die-hard Longhorn and lives by the slogan “What starts here, changes the world.” His goal is to make a change in the world through Audiology, making a difference in people’s lives.

Sandee Sorensen joined Estes Audiology in May 2017. She comes to Estes with 30 years of experience working with the hearing impaired and will be working as an Audiologist Assistant.
At a young age Sandee wanted to do something in life to help others. While working at an ENT practice she started working with an Audiologist fitting hearing aids. After working with the hearing impaired she realized that her childhood dream had come true. What is better than helping someone hear their loved ones again!
Sandee moved to New Braunfels to be close to family in 2016. She loves having those Sunday dinners with her family and listening to her grandchildren talk about their adventures, hopes and dreams. In her free time you will find her with her toolbelt strapped on and building something for her home or building something for someone else. She also loves spending time curled up on the couch with her dogs Minnie and Dixie.
Laurie Coggins joined Estes Audiology in July 2011 and is currently the Office Manager for all Estes Audiology locations. She has extensive experience in customer service, administrative work, and insurance coordination. She lives with her son, Chance, and spoiled dachshund, Diva. Ms. Coggins enjoys the outdoors, traveling, baking and spending time with her family and friends.
Katie Krisch, B.S.
Katie Krisch, B.S. joined Estes Audiology in April 2015 as Patient Care Coordinator for the Boerne office. She graduated from UTSA with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and has over 10 years of customer service and other medical field experience.
Mrs. Krisch has a passion for animals and has helped rescue and foster dogs with several different rescue groups. Her and her husband welcomed their first son, Trevor, in the Fall of 2017. She also has two fur babies of her own, Oakley and Princess, who join her, her husband, and Cody in many outdoor activities, including trips to the river and beach. When she is not out by the water, you can find her at a local Texas country music concert or playing golf.
Brianne Gonzalez joined Estes Audiology in November 2015 as Patient Care Coordinator for New Braunfels. She is originally from Fort Worth and moved to the San Marcos area with her family around 2011. Brianne enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking and being outdoors. Brianne has a wonderful family which includes her husband Marcos, teenage daughter Cassie and her three fur babies Toby, Bella and Apple.
Arianna Garcia, B.S.
Arianna Garcia, B.S. joined Estes Audiology in December 2015 and works a Licensed Audiology Assistant in the Austin office. She graduated in 2014 from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and plans to pursue a Doctoral degree in Audiology. Arianna loves going to concerts and watching movies with her boyfriend and sisters, so any suggestions are always welcome.
Lisa Oenning joined Estes Audiology in April 2016 as Insurance Coordinator for all Estes Audiology locations. She has over 16 years of experience in medical billing and insurance coordination. She lives in New Braunfels with her son, Christian, and their fur babies.
Tricia Hastings joined Estes Audiology in January 2017 as Patient Care Coordinator for Marble Falls by virtue of Estes Audiology’s acquisition of Lakeview Hearing Center. She is originally from Iowa and moved to the Austin area with her family in 1991. In 2014, Tricia and her husband moved to Marble Falls and enjoy the small town atmosphere. Tricia is a musician who is the worship director for her church and leads a ladies gospel group. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, making cards and watching old movies.
Rayleen Nelson, A.A.S.
Rayleen Nelson joined Estes Audiology in January 2017 as an Executive Assistant for the Marble Falls location. She graduated with degrees in Accounting and Business. She has over 20 years’ experience as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant, the last four in Audiology. Her heart is in the service industry, hospitality is her middle name.
She places high value on patient’s concerns and quality of life. She believes relationships and communication are of vital importance to living a happy life. She has a curiosity for meeting new people and a passion for listening to stories about their life. She has a contagious sense of humor and a grand imagination, convinced laughter is the best medicine.
She moved to Marble Falls in 2012 to be closer to her family. She cherishes the times when she can bring them together to catch up on life, savor a great meal and retell stories of their golden days. She spends much of her free time researching genealogy and recording family history.
She is married to the kindest hearted man and together they have four beautiful children. She is a lover of nature and animals. She and her husband share a passion for race horses. In the heat of the Texas summer, they can be found at the race tracks in Fredericksburg, Selma and Houston.
